ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - A person was allegedly shot and killed by his roommate at a townhouse complex on Saturday, according to Atlanta police.
Police said the suspect, who hasn’t been publicly identified, is still on the run. They said the shooting happened after the suspect and the victim had an argument over money.
Officers were called to 1240 Oakland Drive SW, listed as Oakland Park Townhomes, around 12:18 p.m. after a person was reported shot.
Responding officers said they found a 28-year-old man who’d been shot several times. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel, police said. The victim has not yet been identified.
A SWAT team was notified and responded “out of an abundance of caution,” according to police.
