ATLANTA — One person is dead, and multiple lanes of I-85 South between I-985 and Lawrenceville Suwanee Road are shut down Sunday afternoon due to a multi-car crash, officials say.
Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services said they responded just after noon.
They add that three patients were reported on the scene. Gwinnett County Police later confirmed that one person is now dead. The condition of the other victims is still unknown.
Right now, there is no word on how long it will take for the interstate to reopen.
