ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Hair extensions, especially wigs, are very popular in Atlanta — but not all wigs are made equal.
Imani Harmon, the owner of Hair Pourne Wigs andamp; Extension Solutions, came to Atlanta News First to talk about different types of wigs and their benefits. Human hair wigs last longer and look more natural, she said, while synthetic wigs may work in the short term.
Harmon also teaches people how to make and style wigs. She said she will soon open rentable salon spaces for stylists who are ready to take the next step, but not ready to open their own studio yet.
