ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - One person was shot at a southeast Atlanta apartment complex Sunday night, according to police.
Atlanta police said they responded around 7:10 p.m. to a person shot at the Villages at South River apartment complex at 875 Conley Road.
When they arrived, officers reportedly found “a male with a gunshot wound.” Grady EMS took the victim to the hospital in stable condition.
Police said their preliminary investigation indicates “two male suspects appear to be involved in the shooting,” but they left the scene before officers arrived.
Detectives are working to learn what led up to the shooting.
