MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff's Office is asking for help finding a 17-year-old they believe is connected to an Aug. 1 shooting death, the sheriff's office said in a press release.

They say Johnquavis Leonardo Ruthledge, 17, is wanted in connection to the death of Gabreon Tyrese Harrison, 20.

Tyrese was found shot to death in Bloomfield in the 2400 block of Holland Drive, the press release said. According to previous reporting, Harrison was shot in the back of his head.

They say a warrant has been issued for Ruthledge — who they say is 5'7 and weighs roughly 140 pounds — but they have not been able to locate him. He is wanted on murder charges, the Macon Regional Crimestoppers say.

They say they believe Ruthledge could be in the Atlanta area. They say he has a Spider Web with the number '3' on his neck.

If you have any information, they say you should call the Macon Regional Crimestoppers at 1-877-68CRIME or the Sheriff's Office at 478-751-7500.
