ATLANTA — The Georgia Public Library Service has established partnerships to help you get free passes and discounts to cultural institutions around the Peach State.
You can use your library card to check out the passes for the attractions. However, the passes are popular, so check availability in the catalog or by calling your nearest library.
Here's a list of places you can get free passes or discounts:
Alliance Theatre
With the Alliance Theatre pass, you can get up to two tickets for performances on the Hertz and Coca-Cola Stage or four tickets for performances designated as Family Series. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Atlanta History Center
You can get up to six free admissions with the Atlanta History Center pass. It applies only to general admission and is not valid for special events or exhibits. You can present the pass at the museum for admissions or can pre-purchase tickets online on the center’s website using the code on the back of the pass itself. The pass must be presented along with the online purchased tickets to gain free admissions.
The Breman Museum
The family pass for the Breman Museum is available for four free admissions. It applies only to general admission and is not valid for special events or exhibits.
Center for Puppetry Arts
The Passport to Puppetry pass for the Center for Puppetry Arts either gets four people admission to the World of Puppetry Museum, or a patron can receive a 25% discount on an all-inclusive ticket.
Chattahoochee Nature Center
The family pass for the Chattahoochee Nature Center is valid for four admissions. It applies only to general admission and is not valid for special events or exhibits.
Computer Museum of America
The Computer Museum of America pass is also available for four admissions. It applies only to general admission and is not valid for special events or exhibits.
Georgia State Parks andamp; Historic Sites
The Georgia Parks pass includes a hanging tag that allows free parking at all state parks and historic sites. This pass applies only to parking, not admissions.
The historic site family pass allows two free admissions to any of Georgia's historic sites. It is for general admission only and it is not valid for special events, tours or program fees.
Go Fish Education Center
The family pass for the Go Fish Education Center allows up to four free admissions to the center.
Macon Museum Pass
The family pass for the Macon Museum admits up to four people at any of the following: Georgia Sports Hall of Fame, Museum of Arts and Sciences and Tubman Museum. It applies only to general admission and is not valid for special events or exhibits.
Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory
The family pass for the Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory University allows up to six free admissions. It is for general admission only and cannot be used for other museum offerings like audio tours, special exhibits or special programming.
Shakespeare Tavern
The family theatre pass for the Shakespeare Tavern allows for up to four tickets to a performance at the Shakespeare Tavern or can be used for four box seat tickets to a tiered seating performance. The pass must be presented at the Shakespeare Tavern Box Office to receive free tickets. All tickets redeemed using the pass are for general admissions only and may not be used for special events or food or beverages. Other restrictions may apply.
Zoo Atlanta
The Zoo Atlanta Library Pass comes with a voucher for free general admission for four people. The pass and the voucher must be presented at the zoo to receive free admission. The voucher is for one-time use only and - due to its popularity - may be checked out only once per year. The pass and voucher may not be used for parking, concessions, or rides, and they do not provide admission to special events, programs or encounters that require a fee outside of daytime general admission.
