It may still feel like summer, but Atlanta is gearing up for a season of Oktoberfest celebrations! We can’t promise you’ll feel like you’ve been transported to Bavaria, but these events are definitely a great way to have some fall fun this September and October.

The best thing about our local breweries is that many events have FREE admission. You’ll just need your wallet for food and drink. We’ve noted wherever there’s a small cover charge.

Der Biergarten

Every Saturday, Sept. 21 to Oct. 26th

10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Located in downtown Atlanta, Der Biergarten is pulling out all the stops for Oktoberfest. You’ll find stein holding contests, pig roasts, live music, games, giveaways and more. Come hungry for traditional German food!

Tucktoberfest is an annual tradition here! The full schedule of events is posted online and includes special family-friendly Kidstoberfest dates. There is a modest $5 cover charge for most of the dates. Activities include a live polka band, wiener throwing contest, yodeling, and more. Check the schedule online for full information.

St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church

The Mercury Orkestar is playing German polka music. There’s a biergarten and beer hall, with college football on TV. Come hungry for bratwurst, soft pretzels, and other concessions. You’ll also find German sports cars on display, and various local artists selling their goods. The KinderZone features carnival games, playground, bubbles, and arts andamp; crafts. Kids need a $10 wristband to play, but admission to Oktoberfest is FREE.

Round Trip Brewing

Sept. 21 to 29, 2024

Both locations: Midtown ATL and East Cobb

The festivities are FREE to attend; just come and buy beer! Each location has a different set of events, and you can see the full schedule for each one online.

You’ll find games in the beer garden, food vendors, live music, food vendors, special beer releases, stein holding contests, and more. Sunday, Sept. 29th is a special Family Fun Day at both locations. There’s also a free movie night.
