Following a tremendous come-from-behind victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Thursday, the Atlanta Falcons had a long, long week to rest up and prepare themselves for another divisional matchup against the Carolina Panthers at 4:25 p.m. ET Sunday.

The Panthers, though they have looked much better since benching quarterback Bryce Young for Andy Dalton, are still one of the worst teams in the NFL. Atlanta is favored heavily, as they should be, but a loss here would almost certainly send them plummeting down power rankings.

Here are our experts' predictions for this Week 6 showdown.

NFL Week 6 odds, predictions and picks

Seahawks vs. 49ers | Bears vs. Jaguars | Ravens vs. Commanders | Packers vs. Cardinals | Patriots vs. Texans | Saints vs. Buccaneers | Eagles vs. Browns | Titans vs. Colts | Broncos vs. Chargers | Raiders vs. Steelers | Panthers vs. Falcons | Cowboys vs. Lions | Giants vs. Bengals | Jets vs. Bills

Lorenzo Reyes: Falcons 24, Panthers 13

Carolina simply is too much of an uncertainty to back here, even if the Falcons gravitate toward close games. Atlanta’s roster is so much quicker, experienced, better. The Panther O-line may even make the Atlanta pass rush (which ranks dead last in sacks per pass attempt) look good.

Tyler Dragon: Falcons 28, Panthers 17

The Panthers are the worst team in the NFL. The Falcons have won two straight games and Kirk Cousins is getting more comfortable with his new cast of weapons. A Falcons victory will improve the team to 3-0 in the NFC South division.

Jordan Mendoza: Falcons 30, Panthers 16

How can Kirk Cousins top that performance against Tampa Bay? He won’t throw for 500 yards again, but he will have another solid outing for a victory.
