ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Baylor Skelton may have cystic fibrosis, a disorder that affects the lungs and other organs, but that hasn’t stopped his love for baseball — especially when it comes to the Atlanta Braves.

Thanks to a partnership between the Braves and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America, the 8-year-old from Tennessee came to Truist Park on Tuesday to become a Brave for a day and watch a game. He even got to meet his idol, Chipper Jones.

Skelton and his family were given a VIP tour of the ballpark. He also got to bat and play catch on the field before meeting the team and coaching staff.

“Baylor aspires to be just like Chipper Jones and plays 3rd Base, wears #10 and is often referred as ‘Little Chipper’ by his coaches,” the Braves said.
