ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Police are investigating a road rage incident on GA-400 Monday morning.

The Sandy Springs Police Department says it happened on GA-400 northbound at Windsor Parkway shortly after 7:15 a.m. Officers say one driver shot several times at another driver, striking the driver in both arms.

“They could’ve led to more serious injury to the driver or innocent drivers driving up the roadway. It’s definitely a careless act. And it could’ve had a lot more severe consequences,” said Sgt. Leon Millholland, Sandy Spring Police Department.

The victim was transported to Grady Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are still searching for the suspect. While they do not have a description of the suspect because the vehicle windows were tinted, but do have a description of the suspect’s car. They said they’re looking for a dark colored Tesla with tinted windows and dark rims.
