ATLANTA, Ga. - Chick-fil-A has been dethroned as America’s best fast food restaurant, according to USA Today.

The Atlanta-based fast food restaurant was crowned No. 1 on the publication’s 10 Best Reader’s Choice Awards for nine consecutive years.

However, this year, the restaurant dropped to No. 3.

“Chick-fil-A is a favorite of many, including their friendly cow mascots who want you to ‘eat mor chikin’.’ The restaurant offers a variety of chicken-centric dishes, including nuggets and salads, but their classic chicken sandwich has been the most-ordered menu item at Chick-fil-A for (at least) two years running,” the publication said.

With a surprising twist, Mexican chain Del Taco was voted the best fast food chain of 2024.

Coming in second place was KFC.

New Chick fil-A for Columbia County

A new Chick-fil-A drive-thru could be coming to Columbia County.

It’s coming to the Belair Frontage Road near Interstate 20. That’s right off Exit 194. It’s the old Steak N’ Shake location.

Don’t fret if you’re a Tesla owner. The plans are to leave the charging stations in place.
