Live! From The Crypt: Halloween Party Atlanta
This crypt-tastic world provides a haunting atmosphere with themed cocktails and a costume contest. Make sure you dress up as someone ready to dance because there will be a live DJ spinning ghastly grooves. This spooky party is happening on Oct. 26 with doors opening at 8 p.m. You must be 21 years or older to attend.

Haunted Seas at the Georgia Aquarium
Starting Oct. 4, your favorite exhibits at the Georgia Aquarium will have a spooky touch to them. Ocean Voyager will be filled with pirates sharing ghostly tales and hidden treasures. Find the Tropical Diver gallery transformed into a Mermaids’ Grotto. Then explore the River Scout’s Haunted Jungle Cruise with ghostly sights and sounds.

Sips Under the Sea: Halloween
This themed cocktail party at the Georgia Aquarium is the perfect 21+ event to get in the Halloween spirit. Sips Under the Seas is happening Oct. 25 from 7-10 p.m. and again on Halloween night from 7-10 p.m. Each event will have cocktails, dining options, a live DJ and access to the main galleries. This is a ticketed event.

Midtown Halloween Block Party
Secure the perfect costume for the Midtown Halloween Block Party happening on Oct. 25. A wristband gets you access to more than 35 establishments with no cover fee. There will also be complimentary shots, exclusive food and drink specials, and a $500 costume contest at Politan Row. The event kicks off at 6 p.m. Tickets are limited. Participating spots include McCray’s Tavern, The Nook, My Sister’s Room and more.

Little 5 Points Halloween Festival andamp; Parade
This is a weekend full of events you won’t want to miss. The two-day event on Oct. 19-20 features live music, an art and vintage market, neighborhood ghost tours, a skate park, and food and drink vendors. There will be street performances by Beastly Buskers, three stages of non-stop live music and a monster sticker hunt. The parade is happening Sunday at 2 p.m. It is the biggest Halloween celebration in the Southeast. Our insider guide to the parade has everything you need to know before going.

Halloween on The ROOF
When the sun sets on The ROOF at Ponce City Market the night of Oct. 26, prepare for a spooky evening. Halloween on The ROOF will be a scene for a haunted carnival with sinister DJ beats, bone-chilling cocktails and even a costume contest. No matter when you go, there will always be a new fright lurking.

Six Flags Over Georgia Fright Fest
This year marks 30 years of Fright Fest. Happening Sept. 14-Nov. 3, there will be 15 haunted attractions to explore. Guests can get immersed inside Jigsaw’s twisted mind through the SAW maze. Stranger Things superfans can find the perfect haunting experience, too. Other experiences include Camp Slasher, Crimson Vein and Promenade Theater. There will be a sensory deprivation maze immersing guests in total darkness.

Although the state of Georgia is a great destination for beach vacations from May to August, the fall season also has much to offer visitors.
About two hours north of Atlanta sits Helen, a mountain hamlet of alpine-themed architecture and German-influenced cuisine that’s just weird enough to be more charming than corny.
We’re not going to sugar coat things, Georgians.

One of my favorite things about Atlanta is that even though it's a big city, it remains a collection of neighborhoods.
