That iconic local brand, King of Pops, is once more hosting its popular Yoga at the Park series! This year, it will take place every other Saturday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.
The location is the grassy space near the Old Forth Ward Skate Park, just off the BeltLine Eastside Trail.
Bring your own mat, a water bottle, and whatever else you may need. This class is suitable for all experience levels.
The event will be canceled during bad weather, so keep an eye on the Yoga at the Park Facebook events page for updates.
Old Fourth Ward Skatepark is located at 766 Willoughby Way NE, Atlanta. You can access it from the Beltline or from city streets adjoining Old Fourth Ward Park.
2024 King of Pops Yoga schedule
The yoga classes are every other week in 2024, making it harder to know which weeks the event is happening — unlike when it was the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month. So PLEASE verify the date independently before you head over to the yoga class.
You can check for event updates on the King of Pops’ Facebook and Instagram pages, plus an Eventbrite page for yoga.

Parking
Last year, King of Pops issued this reminder about parking courteously:
“If you guys keep parking on Willoughby Way and the rest of the neighborhood blocking driveways, hydrants, and in reserved spots, the city will shut us down (rightfully so)! So please don’t spoil this for everyone. Walk, bike, take MARTA, or if you have to drive, arrive early, park a few blocks away, and walk to the park. There’s plenty of parking on Ralph McGill, Highland Ave, Austin and Lake Ave, just a short few blocks away from the park. Please be mindful.”

Speaker 1 (00:00):… be an American where at least I know I’m free.
Although the state of Georgia is a great destination for beach vacations from May to August, the fall season also has much to offer visitors.
About two hours north of Atlanta sits Helen, a mountain hamlet of alpine-themed architecture and German-influenced cuisine that’s just weird enough to be more charming than corny.
We’re not going to sugar coat things, Georgians.
“Together, we will take our momentum and energy to the ballot box and set the tone for the entire country — especially first-time voters — to vote early,” said Beth Lynk, the group’s executive director.
One of my favorite things about Atlanta is that even though it's a big city, it remains a collection of neighborhoods.
