Back-to-School Cobb Community Event - July 13

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Fair Oaks Recreation Center, 1465 W. Booth Road Ext. SW, Marietta

The event, hosted by the Cobb County Sheriff's Office and Artportunity Knocks, aims to support families and educators with various resources. It features different zones for toddlers, kids, and teens, and provides resources for parents and educators. The event includes concessions and is designed to help the community prepare for the upcoming school year.

Dream Network Back-to-School Bash - July 13

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 2125 Rockbridge Road SW, Stone Mountain

Food vendors, games, school supplies, and a giveaway will be available. Many exhibits for daycare, tutoring, and others will be available. A public safety briefing is also expected.

Fulton County Sheriff's Office Back-to-School Giveaway - July 13

From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Villages at Carver Family YMCA, Atlanta

It's the third annual back-to-school giveaway hosted by the Fulton County Sheriff's Office. Join them for live entertainment, food, games and free school supplies this year. The event also promises a petting zoo and much more.

Suwanee ES Gives Back for Back to School - July 13-14

From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Walmart, 3245 Lawrenceville-Suwanee Rd, Suwanee

Suwanee Elementary School, the North Gwinnett Co-Op, and Walmart are teaming up to provide school supplies to more than 700 families. The “Fill That Bus” campaign focuses on providing students with the resources they need to succeed in school. Students will receive pencils, binders, backpacks, markers, and other school supplies.

All In Decatur Back-to-School Bash - July 18 (rain date July 20 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. )

From 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Green space across from Elizabeth Wilson Student Support Center and Ebster Gym, downtown Decatur

This event promises a fun day full of activities for all ages. People are invited to come out and eat from vendors and buy school supplies. Donations are welcomed.

Shoot Hoops Not Guns Back-2-School Bash - July 19

From 1 p.m. at Hoyt Smith Center, 3444 N. Fulton Ave, Atlanta

This community event, which focuses on violence prevention, will include a youth basketball game, free food, and prizes. Donations are also welcomed.
