ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - The Fourth of July upon us -- and if you don’t have plans yet, look no further. There are dozens of fun events, parades, festivals and fireworks happening in Atlanta and the metro area.

Stone Mountain Park - Fantastic Fourth Celebration

July 3-7, Festivities run from 10:30 a.m. – 9 p.m., Drone andamp; Light Show + Fireworks start at 9:30 p.m.

July 4 event: The event has reached capacity for Thursday. Park officials said gates are closed to both vehicles and walk-up traffic.

Family attractions, live entertainment, hike the one-mile trail to the top of Stone Mountain, explore the wooded trails throughout the park and experience the NEW Music Across America Light Show

Lanier Islands - 4th of July Activities

Festivities run from July 3-7, Fireworks begin at 10 p.m. on July 4-6

Poolside relaxation, scenic hikes, sunset cruises, waterfront dining spots, live music and, of course, firework shows.

Six Flags Over Georgia - July 4th Fireworks Celebration

July 3-6, Fireworks begin at 9:15 p.m.

Roller coasters, live entertainment, summer eats and fireworks finale.

Downtown Kennesaw - Kennesaw’s Salute to America

Event begins at 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., Fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.

Live entertainment, music, food vendors, activities and fireworks.

Johns Creek Newtown Park - Independence Day Celebration

Event begins at 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., Fireworks will begin after 9 p.m.

Live music, activities, food and fireworks display.

Sugar Hill E. E. Robinson Park - Sparks in the Park

Event begins at 6:30 p.m., Fireworks begin at dark

Food trucks, vendors, activities, free concert and fireworks show.

Olde Town Conyers - Red, White and Boom!

Event begins at 6 p.m., Fireworks will be at dark or at 9:30 p.m.

Food trucks, kids activities, live music, a beer garden and fireworks.

Lawrenceville Lawn - Prelude to the Fourth

Event begins at 5 p.m., Fireworks begin at 9:30 p.m.

Douglasville Town Green - Fourth of July Festival

Festival begins at 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Activity stations, bounce houses, snow cones, and much more.

Dallas - 4th Of July Concert andamp; Fireworks

Festivities begin at 7 p.m., Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.

Food trucks, live music, activities for kids and fireworks.

Ackworth Cauble Park - July Fourth Concert and Fireworks

Festivities begin a 4 p.m., Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.

Thurman Springs Park - Powder Springs 4th of July Celebration, Cruise-In and Fireworks
