This full-working farm in north Georgia is less than a one-hour drive from Atlanta. Beyond pumpkins, Burt's also offers hayrides that travel around the pumpkin patch with a visit to the farm's "famous" pumpkins, Autumn and Gordy. Passengers can catch a glimpse of Amicalola Falls, the highest waterfall east of the Mississippi River.

2. Buford Corn Maze — Buford

Select days, September 7-November 17, 2024

This fall favorite is under new ownership for 2024, and remains a staple for families. It boasts a pumpkin patch, farm-animal viewing, a fun "corn box" for kids to play in (think sandbox filled with dried corn), a jumping pillow, corn maze, hayride, and Haunted Forest. Note: The Haunted Forest is appropriate for kids ages 10 and older; younger children can enter with a guardian. Season passes are also available.

3. Warbington Farms — Cumming

September 11-November 2, 2024

Fall is a great time to visit Warbington Farms. Visitors enjoy the corn maze, pumpkin patch, hay rides, and a fun park (including jumping pillow, barnyard slide, and a petting zoo). Warbington also offers u-cut flowers, country store, and events on Saturdays like Pumpkin Palooza and a Halloween egg hunt. On the last day of the season, feed pumpkins to the cows!

4. Callaway Gardens — Pine Mountain

Fridays-Sundays, September 14-November 2, 2024

The annual Pumpkins at Callaway features the giant pumpkin tree, corn maze, sunflower field, plenty of photo ops, and a pumpkin patch. At night, the pumpkins glow along the walk-through Enchanted Pumpkin Trail and families can play Mini Glow Golf.

5. Jaemor Farms — Alto

Select days, September 14-November 3, 2024

Aside from pumpkins, Jaemor Farm harvests and sells more fruits and vegetables, including peaches and plums. The fall extravaganza includes pumpkins, a corn maze, hayrides, farm slides, a petting zoo, farm, skee-ball, a pumpkin train, apple cannons, and concessions.

6. Uncle Shuck's Corn Maze — Dawsonville

Select days, September 14-November 10, 2024

If there ever was a "fall wonderland," this Georgia farm would come pretty darn close. Enjoy the pumpkin patch, a 15-acre corn maze, corn cannon shooting, a jumping pad, a towering goat walk, farm animals, wagon rides, and a haunted trail.

7. Southern Belle Farms — McDonough

Select days, September 18-November 3, 2024

Southern Belle Farms offers 20 or so activities aside from pumpkin picking at this 330-acre working farm in McDonough. Families can spend the day getting lost in the corn maze, taking a cow train ride, shooting a corn cannon, enjoying a rubber duck race, visiting barnyard animals, racing pedal carts, and more. Stop by the Country Market to purchase apple cider donuts, honey, cider, and other treats.

8. Randy's Pumpkin Patch — Lawrenceville

Select days, September 20-October 31, 2024

With an amusement park atmosphere, it's easy to spend the day at Randy's Pumpkin Patch. In addition to pumpkins, there's a trackless train, petting zoo, giant slide, inflatable corn maze, bounce houses, and concession stands. While the pumpkin patch is free to visit, the attractions require tickets that cost $20 for 25 tickets.

9. Cagle's Farm — Holly Springs

Fridays - Sundays, September 20-November 3, 2024

Families can pick out the perfect pumpkin, conquer a corn maze, watch pig races, see a sheepdog herding demonstration, and visit farm animals at Cagle's. Smaller kids enjoy Micah's Mini Maze and the water trough bubbles, while parents love photo ops next to the antique tractor.

10. Scottsdale Farms — Milton

September 21-October 25, 2024 (until the pumpkins run out)

Families can visit the pumpkin patch and playground for free, and opt to purchase tickets for the Family Fun Field with a corn maze, hayride, zipline, and farm animals. During your visit, find plenty of Fall-themed photo ops.

11. Pettit Creek Farms — Cartersville

Select days, September 21-October 31, 2024

Pettit Creek is a drive-thru, animal farm that transforms into Pumpkin Fest during the fall. While there are no pumpkins for purchase, there are plenty around for photo-ops, as well as animals to see. Enjoy the two-acre corn maze, pig races, scarecrow building, hayrides, a petting zoo, and a canopy tour. The farm requires everyone to sign a waiver (online).

12. Powers Family Farm — Villa Rica

Weekends, September 21-October 31, 2024

Head to this family-run farm for lots of pumpkins! Additional activities include a petting zoo, corn maze, hayride, and pumpkin painting. For 2024, take advantage of the new parking lot, barns, pastures, animals, and activities. The season concludes on Halloween with their annual Tractor Treat event.

13. Sleepy Hollow Farms — Powder Springs

Select days, September 21-November 2, 2024

In addition to pumpkins, Sleepy Hollow attractions include tractor rides, corn maze, playground, farm animals, and a country store. New for 2024: Treasure Hunters Scavenger Hunt andamp; Puzzle Game! Make sure to buy your tickets online in advance. The outdoor escape room "Hopper's Cabin from Stranger Things," for kids ages 10 and up, requires a separate online ticket.

14. Washington Farms — Bogart

September 21-November 3, 2024 (except Mondays)

Grab one of Washington Farms' wheelbarrows and peruse the field for the perfect pumpkins to take home. Washington Farms also offers a cow train, corn maze, wagon rides, duck races, ziplines, and more. There are more attractions offered on the weekend, like the popular mega slide. The pumpkin patch is free, but ticket prices for the activities vary by weekdays and weekends.

15. Big Springs Farm Pumpkin Patch — Woodstock

Fridays-Sundays, September 28-October 27, 2024

Families visiting Big Springs Farm can check out a broad selection of pumpkins and cute farm animals. For an additional fee, the farm offers a hayride, bounce house, gem mining, a corn maze, and a jump pad to keep kids entertained.

16. Berry Patch Farms — Woodstock

Fridays-Sundays, October 4-27, 2024

Located on the outskirts of Woodstock, this farm features a bevy of pumpkins of varying sizes, playground, and baby farm animals in the barnyard. After picking the perfect pumpkin, guests are invited to purchase Berry Patch Farms' homemade treats. Prices vary by gourds.
