The Atlanta Greek Festival features authentic food, arts andamp; crafts, and cultural experiences
The Atlanta Greek Festival is back live, in person, and in its traditional festival format for 2024.
The 2024 Atlanta Greek Festival opens on Thursday, September 19th and runs through Sunday, September 22nd. The location is the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation, at 2500 Clairmont Road.
You’ll find Greek food, arts and crafts, shopping at the Greek marketplace, culture, dancing and entertainment, tours of the cathedral, and more. (You can eat on the cheap at the Atlanta Greek Festival thanks to the discount ticket options listed below.)
General admission to the festival is $5 for adults and kids over 12. Children age 12 and under are FREE. But of course we have a few admission deals listed below, for your consideration.
Festival hours:
Thursday, Sept. 19 — 5 to 10 p.m.
Friday, Sept. 20 — 5 to 11 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 21 — 11 a.m to 11 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 22 — 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Check out our Complete Guide to Atlanta Fall Festivals andamp; Fairs — which covers the entire metro area and includes all the fairs and festivals from September thru November.
Admission discounts
You can skip the ticket booth line at the festival gate and buy tickets in advance online for just $5. They will be $6 at the gate. There appears to be no extra fees when you buy in advance online.
Plus, you can order group tickets online now for just $4 each (when you buy 20 or more, that is).
There have also been food deals in the past, and we’ll watch for those details to be released as well — so please check back.
Getting there, parking, shuttle service
The Greek Orthodox Cathedral is located at 2500 Clairmont Road NE, Atlanta.
You can park for FREE across the street at Century Center (starting one hour before festival opening time) and ride the shuttle to the festival.
There is paid parking for $25 at the Cathedral and at Cliff Valley School — but when the spots are full, that’s it.
The ride share drop off point is in front of the admissions gate, at the side of the church, by the exit.

Speaker 1 (00:00):… be an American where at least I know I’m free.
Although the state of Georgia is a great destination for beach vacations from May to August, the fall season also has much to offer visitors.
About two hours north of Atlanta sits Helen, a mountain hamlet of alpine-themed architecture and German-influenced cuisine that’s just weird enough to be more charming than corny.
We’re not going to sugar coat things, Georgians.
“Together, we will take our momentum and energy to the ballot box and set the tone for the entire country — especially first-time voters — to vote early,” said Beth Lynk, the group’s executive director.
One of my favorite things about Atlanta is that even though it's a big city, it remains a collection of neighborhoods.
