The best fall festivals in Atlanta in 2024 — including state fairs, county fairs, carnivals, harvest celebrations, arts and music festivals, and more!

Fall festival season in Atlanta kicks off around Labor Day Weekend, when it still feels like summer, and continues until Thanksgiving — and then it’s time for tree and menorah lightings, ice rinks, and holiday fun.

This list includes festivals, carnivals, and fairs that are taking place in September, October, and November in 2024. This is the most complete listing you will find!

The events take place across the extended metro Atlanta region — so you can plan a day trip or stick close to home.

As always, we emphasize festivals with FREE admission, but there are exceptions. The state and county fairs have an admission charge at the gate, and of course you’ll pay for rides — but for each one, we keep a list of ticket discounts and ways to save money.

NOTE: We are still updating details for 2024, but much of the info is current already!

We also have a guide to Atlanta summer festivals and a humongous list of Atlanta spring festivals.
