Miles Garrett joined the FOX 5 Sports team in July 2021 as a producer for the station's Falcons programming. Since then, he's worked on coverage of most major sports teams in north Georgia. Miles covered the Atlanta Braves run to the World Series with live reports from Los Angeles during the NLCS and has gotten the chance to work exclusively with the Atlanta Falcons on many projects. This included trips to road games as well as the team's scouting process prior to the 2023 NFL Draft with coverage at the East-West Shrine Game in Las Vegas and Indianapolis for the NFL Combine. Miles has also covered the Georgia Bulldogs extensively and was nominated for an Emmy for his feature story on former UGA head coach Mark Richt and player Tra Battle.
Additionally, Miles was an embed reporter for Georgia Governor Brian Kemp during his re-election campaign in 2022. He got the chance to have one-on-one interviews with Vice President Mike Pence, Governor Chris Christie and others.
Before joining FOX 5, Miles worked at WSBT 22 in South Bend, Indiana where he covered Notre Dame athletics. Prior to working in South Bend, Miles was a news and sports reporter for WGXA in Macon.
Miles went to Elon University but was born and raised in Georgia. He graduated from Cambridge High School (GO BEARS!) and is excited to add to High 5 Sports' award-winning football coverage. In his free time, Miles enjoys working out, traveling, watching movies, and hanging out with his dog Dansby.
