Reco Reco, an electronic music trio from Toulouse drawing inspiration from traditional South American rhythms, comes to the Goat Farm in Atlanta on October 5, 2024 to play during “Site”.
The invitation of Reco Reco is in celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the sister city partnership between the cities of Atlanta and Toulouse. This event is a partnership between Villa Albertine, the Goat Farm, France-Altanta, and ELEVATE.
Reco Reco‘s music is at once futuristic and ancestral, where traditional South American rhythms meet the deepest infrabasses of European dancefloors. The three members of Reco Reco nourish their sound with cumbia, merengue, Mexican 3ball and Brazilian forro and baião, each adding their own distinctive touch, and fuse these traditional rhythms with today’s electro sounds. The result is an innovative and powerful sound, accompanied by a contagious on-stage energy! Reco Reco includes Bastien Andrieu on keys and drum machine; Juan Kowalczewski on guitar, drum machine, and percussion; and Timothée Alcorn on drums.
