Last month, MJ Lenderman announced his upcoming studio album Manning Fireworks, due on September 6th via ANTI-. Now, the indie rocker and Wednesday member has mapped out a 2024 North American tour in support of the album.
Preceded by bookings at the Hopscotch Music Festival in Raleigh, North Carolina and at Americanafest in Nashville, Lenderman’s 2024 tour will officially kick off with a performance at Terminal West in Atlanta on October 4th. From there, he’ll head to cities like Chicago, Brooklyn, Washington DC, and more before wrapping with a final American date on November 1st in Asheville, North Carolina. After that, Lenderman will hop across the pond for European dates in Germany, France, the UK, and Ireland.

Manning Fireworks serves as Lenderman’s follow-up to his celebrated 2022 album, Boat Songs. The new album is due on September 6th, along with the previously-released singles “Rudolph” and Song of the Week “She’s Leaving You.”
Meanwhile, Lenderman’s other band, Wednesday, has a few gigs coming up this August (get tickets). Last year, the former CoSign band put out the second-best release of 2023.
