It pretty rare that we get tour dates from the elusive Colter Wall and his Scary Prairie Boys. And when we do, they commonly sell out quite quickly. All you folks in the deep South who’ve been clamoring for your opportunity, it will finally be coming around this December. Colter will be heading through the Carolinas, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, as well as Texas this Winter in between his ranching duties.
The old cowboy poets and Western singers of yesteryear had to think they were the last of the breed, like torches being held up at the dying of the light as the memories of the old cowboy ways slowly faded. Then here came a young man from Saskatchewan, Canada, who seemed to conjure all those old cowboy ghosts every time he opened his mouth, and all of a sudden, throngs of people found a love of old cowboy songs in their hearts once again.
The tour is officially called the “Colter Wall and Friends” tour, with the friends on the previously-announced leg being Noeline Hofmann who is blowing up thanks to her Zach Bryan collaboration, Kade Hoffman, and Canadian country legend Corb Lund. Support has yet to be finalized for the December tour dates.
All dates are on sale now at colterwall.com.
