On the “City Lights” series “Speaking of Music,” local musicians share their work and stories in their own voices. In today’s segment, we feature Atlanta musician Tron Austin.
Austin describes his music as “a mix of early 2000s, late 90s grunge, rock… and shoegaze.”
He began playing music at a young age, having been exposed to a variety of influences from an extremely musical family. “It really inspired me to create my own lane if I really wanted to get into this kind of industry,” says Austin, “I started off just drumming, and then I went into producing, and now I song-write.”
Atlanta has remained a gigantic influence on his music and life, and he recently released a new project, entitled “Better Days,” out on all streaming platforms.
