SANDY SPRINGS, Ga. — Sandy Springs police say a driver shot at another drive in an apparent road rage incident on GA-400 Monday, and now authorities are looking for a suspect.
The incident happened just north of Windsor Parkway and between Lenox Road around 7:15 Monday morning and closed two northbound lanes of the highway just after 9 a.m., according to the Georgia Department of Transportation 511 website.
According to Sandy Springs police, the victim was shot in both arms after "aggressive driving" led to the shooting; they were taken to Grady Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.
They said the driver shot "several times."
Authorities are now looking for a "dark-colored" Tesla with tinted windows and dark rims. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call police at 770-551-6937.
