Position Summary:
Atlanta Beverage Company (ABC) is seeking a Vice President (VP) of Sales, who will report directly to the President. This position is primarily responsible for overseeing sales performance and managing company initiatives across the metro-Atlanta region. The VP of Sales will assist in the development and execution of sales, pricing, and marketing plans across the entire ABC portfolio of products. A successful VP of Sales will cultivate and maintain strong relationships amongst suppliers, retailers, and ABC staff.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the execution of company sales and revenue targets
Responsible for creating and implementing data-driven sales and pricing plans
Responsible for full understanding of technology and data tools used by ABC
Responsible for keen understanding market trends and competitive activity
Responsible for the management of the sales team organizational chart
Responsible for developing reporting measures including scorecards and KPIs
Responsible for training, developing, mentoring, and evaluating team performance
Responsible as the main point of contact between major suppliers and ABC
Responsible for successful oversight of PandL for sales department
Responsible for communicating business performance to appropriate stakeholders
Responsible for all other duties as assigned
