Another dining option is now available at High Street.
Agave Bandido, located at 120 High Street in Dunwoody, features a Mexican-inspired menu and tequila bar, as well as a hidden speakeasy.
“When scouting locations for our next restaurant, High Street stood out because of its central location, brand alignment with other tenants and soon-to-come programming that brings the community together,” Agave Bandido co-owner Matt Faul said in a news release. “We wanted to bring an experience that is typically found in urban settings to Atlanta’s suburbs. Agave Bandido makes every meal a memorable one and we have enjoyed seeing the community embrace this new concept.”
The menu features authentic Mexican dishes, including classic street tacos, enchiladas, and specialty items like the signature Bandido Taco, Churrasco Chimichurri and table-side guacamole. The beverage program includes a wide selection of premium tequilas and handcrafted cocktails, including margaritas. Agave Bandido hosts a happy hour with promotional drinks and food, including $4 tacos, every Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The restaurant is decorated with vibrant murals influenced by Mexican culture, including references to the Day of the Dead celebration and Mayahuel, the Mayan goddess of agave, as well as large murals on the restaurant’s exterior by Miami-based artist Ruben Ubiera. Ubiera worked with interior designer Pam Manhas on the restaurant.
An upstairs “Maya SpeakTiki” can be found through a hidden door. Open Wednesday through Saturday by reservation only, the tiki-inspired speakeasy seats approximately 80 people and is also available to rent for private events.
Other restaurants and retailers open now at High Street include Nando’s, Ben andamp; Jerry’s, Skin Spirit, Velvet Taco and Allen Edmonds. Puttshack will have a grand opening celebration on Nov. 6, 2024.
The mixed-use destination also has more than 200 residents living onsite and is actively leasing the Class A office space overlooking the Plaza.
“At High Street, you’re not just shopping at a store or eating at a restaurant – you’re getting an immersive community experience,” said Ian Ward, Senior Vice President at GID, the developer of High Street. “Each one of our tenants brings something unique to the Perimeter and we are thrilled to see their spaces come alive.”
Agave Bandido, located next to Nando’s, is open at 11 a.m. seven days a week with varying closing times.

Based on the way some Seattleites talk about the Eastside, it seems like an untouchable place where you settle down, buy a house with a yard, get a dog (or a Roomba), and send your fleeting youth away in a puff of humidifier smoke.
