Sarah Lawrence Art and Design Wonder Grant

Sarah Lawrence’s Design Emporium is seeking to fund innovative and experimental concepts related to art and design, civic engagement, and technology with a $1,500 grant offering. The award is meant to inspire, with an interest in the following goals: finish a project that might help you secure additional funding down the road, support civic engagement and community building, have a deliberate and specific outcome in mind, one that can be measured if possible, use art and/or design to amplify a message or encourage positive change, experiment with new technologies and attempt to push the boundaries of what is possible with modern offerings. Applicants are not required to be a resident of metropolitan Atlanta, but Atlanta residents will be given first priority.
South Florida Cultural Consortium Grant to Visual and Media Artists

The South Florida Cultural Consortium Grant Program offers one of the largest regional, government-sponsored artists’ grants in the United States, awarding $15,000 and $7,500 grants to resident visual and media artists from the counties of Broward, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe, and Palm Beach. Since it was established in 1988, the Consortium has awarded over to $4 million in grants to over 300 artists. In addition to receiving the grant, the artists take part in an exhibition hosted and organized by a visual arts institution in one of the five counties, and since 2019, artworks by Miami-Dade based artists are acquired and accessioned for the Art in Public Places Collection.
Augusta Sculpture Trail 2024-2025

The Greater Augusta Arts Council, as the public art agency for the City of Augusta, Georgia, is seeking ten (10) leasable, pre-existing, outdoor sculptures to be installed for two years in Downtown Augusta, GA for the Augusta Sculpture Trail.
This will be a temporary (2 year) installation in Downtown Augusta. All of the ten (10) sculpture sites will have a 4’x4’ concrete base, and are fully accessible. The sites are spaced in a manner to promote walking from one sculpture to another, creating a trail to follow. Other public art installations already in place will augment the walking tour experience.
Open Call for Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital Campus – Garage Façade Project

On behalf of Harris Health, art consultants Davis Cohen Art (DCA) invite artists to submit their qualifications for the first phase of the Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) Hospital Campus – Garage Façade Project. The design for the new parking garage at the LBJ Hospital Campus will feature a decorative screening with an iconic surface design that sets the tone for the entire campus. This monumental design will grace the facade of the multi-level parking garage, serving as a welcoming element for patients, families, community members, and staff. The Art Committee will review these qualifications and select a shortlist of artists to advance to the second phase, which will involve developing project-specific designs. A stipend will be provided for this phase of the project.
NCMA Winston-Salem Artist Call for Public Murals

NCMA Winston-Salem seeks three artists to create public murals in Winston-Salem’s West End and Waughtown neighborhoods. This project is part of NCMA Winston-Salem’s Community Arts Initiative. The Community Arts Initiative and public murals are sponsored projects of the Arts Council of Winston-Salem and funded through ARPA as supported by the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners. This opportunity is open to individuals and teams who live or work in Forsyth County. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the United States, and have at least a three-year history of professional practice.

The Paul andamp; Daisy Soros Fellowships for New Americans program honors the contributions of immigrants and children of immigrants to the United States. Each year, we invest in the graduate education of 30 New Americans—immigrants and children of immigrants—who are poised to make significant contributions to US society, culture, or their academic field. Each Fellow receives up to $90,000 in financial support over two years, and they join a lifelong community of New American Fellows.
ArtFields 2025 Prizes

Submissions for ArtFields, an annual competition and exhibition in Lake City, South Carolina, are now open. Organized by the Lake City ArtFields Collective, accepted artists are part of a celebration of art and community while they compete for over $100,000 in prizes, plus Southeastern Partner awards that include exhibitions and residencies. Adult artists of all working media who reside in the competition’s 12 participating Southeastern states (Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia) are invited to apply.

On May 1-3, 2025, Harding Academy will celebrate the 50th Anniversary of The Harding Art Show.

These monthly grants range from $500–$3,000, with the average amount being $1,700. Visual and performing artists whose work has a contemporary, experimental nature and who have a US Tax ID Number can apply.
Nancy Norton Tomasko Scholarship

The Nancy Norton Tomasko Scholarship fund is dedicated to providing financial support for individuals wishing to learn more about the book arts. The Center will award scholarships covering the full tuition and materials for one course per individual. Awardees are selected based on financial need and proof of having satisfied the prerequisites for the desired course. Please fill out and submit the following form at least three weeks before the start date of the workshop to be considered for financial assistance.
