ATLANTA — A wild break-in was caught on camera in Buckhead.

Sharif Deshazor, owner of Price Tag ATL, explained that he used to manage a store until he decided earlier this year he was going to open his own store.

“It’s about becoming an entrepreneur and building a business, and you know, giving positivity and doing things the right way in the community,” Deshazor said.

That is why he said all of this is disheartening. He just opened his business in June, and this is the second time his place has been broken into.

In September, Deshazor said several suspects cut their way through his front door and literally wiped the place out. He spent several thousand dollars reinforcing the building and beefing up his security system and was able to open it back up.

Now, weeks later, not only was his place broken into a second time, but he is dealing with major structural damage.

On Tuesday, Oct. 16, just after 2:30 a.m., the staff at Price Tag ATL on Roswell Road were alerted by their security system of a possible break-in.

When they clicked on the LIVE video, they were surprised to see an SUV sitting inside the business. They also noticed a suspect running around inside the store.

The owner shared the surveillance video with 11Alive on Wednesday afternoon. You can see the black SUV pull into the parking lot before the driver throws in reverse and crashes through the storefront.

The driver is then seen running from the SUV through the store straight back to the counter. He spends a few seconds moving around behind a computer before he heads out and starts pulling clothes off the racks.

The employees said they were alerted by their security system and were able to speak through the intercom system. You can hear them in one of the surveillance videos yelling at the suspect, “The cops are on the way, the cops are coming!”

You can see the suspect is spooked by the employees’ voices, and he quickly runs out of the store. Seconds later, the SUV drives out of the store and takes off down Roswell Road.

Deshazor said between both break-ins he's lost several hundred thousand dollars. He said his employees are also hurting because of these crimes.

"Right now, we are just taking it day by day," he explained.

Deshazor said while he's unsure what the future holds, he hopes the community can rally behind him and help Price Tag ATL stay afloat.

There have been several other similar break-ins at boutique retail shops like Deshazor's across metro Atlanta since this summer.

11Alive recently reported on the break-in at Refresh Atlanta in East Point, where suspects rammed a car into the front of the business to get inside.

Anyone with information on any of these break-ins is encouraged to call Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS(8477) or e-mail the anonymous information using the online form at www.crimestoppersatlanta.org.

The tip can result in a reward of up to $2,000 to the individual who supplied the information needed to solve the case.
