ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Texas Roadhouse locations in Georgia will donate a day’s profits to support Apalachee High School in the wake of the deadly mass shooting at the school two weeks ago.
The restaurant chain announced in a social media post that it will hold a “Dine to Donate night” at its Georgia locations on Monday, Sept. 23, to benefit the school, with 100% of profits going toward the Barrow Community Foundation’s fund to help the community.

The foundation says contributions to its Barrow Community Crisis Fund “will be dedicated to the recovery of the families, students, staff and community affected by this heartbreaking event through June 30, 2025.”
From 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, customers can come dine in or take out to show their support at Texas Roadhouse locations in: Athens, Augusta, Buford, Cartersville, Columbus, Cumming, Douglasville, Gainesville, Hiram, Macon, Marietta, McDonough, Newnan, Pooler, Rome, Savannah, Snellville, Statesboro and Valdosta.
Two students and two teachers were killed in the Sept. 4 shooting and nine others were sent to the hospital. Students will resume classes on Tuesday, Sept. 24.
On Wednesday, the group When We All Vote – a nonpartisan voting initiative Obama founded in 2018 – announced that they would be hosting a rally headlined by the former first lady in Georgia's capital on October 29.
